The David Minor Theater

This is the greatest place to go on a date. The beer is cold, the movies are good, the athomsphere is great and the food is hard to beat.

I love going down to DMT and seeing new and classic movies, knowing the guys working, and feeling good about spending my money at a local theater. Thanks DMT!

I love the theater, I come in frequently with friends. I wish there were more appetizer style menu options available though. And maybe dessert. It's pretty limited to entree fare at the moment.

I always look forward to voting for the "next round of movies", because I'm excited to see what classics may be showing next! I'm always disappointed with the limited number of classices that are being shown. I absolutely love the David Minor Theater, but I would LOVE even more to see more classics such as Reservoir Dogs, The Evil Dead, Clerks, A Clockwork Orange, etc. Thank you for being a fantastic theater! :)

While we've no doubt appreciated your recent run of recent classics like The Big Lebowski, I've heard several people mention that they wish the DM would screen older classics. I personally will never forget seeing Casablanca at the DM, and I'd love to see the occasional older film there. If you could somehow get your hands on Psycho, for example, or the Godfather or Cool Hand Luke, that would be great. Or there's the run of 70s greats like Chinatown, Apocalypse Now or Rocky. All good, and good fun. Keep up the good work.

The design of this site is really marvelous, I like watching it very much. I like also the idea of eating or drinking some light alcoholic drinks while watching some awesome movie. If someone invited me there I’d be happy to enjoy.

Recently we added earplugs to our menu. If you find the movies too loud at times at the DMT then just ask for a pair of earplugs at the front counter. .50 cents is all we ask in return. Thanks.

I would love to see help or hard days night at david minor sometime! Those are great movies. With the whole beatle games and all it should bring people in. Child of the lost city and lost high way are great movies too. Just a thought... Whatever comes I love the place! Much luv

hi there, if you really have budget your anniversary date, try reserving the whole movie house for your loved one. It may cost too much but this is really deserving for someone you love. My essay writing professor suggest this to me two years ago, LOL. I even write an essay about this suggestion.

Hi, A couple of things: first, you guys have been pretty awesome with the movie choices. Good job with the new classics (pulp fiction, boondock saints, etc) and the classic classics (Casablanca...). Would be awesome to have more older classics, including maybe some Noir films. Also, I'd specifically like to request "The Age of Stupid". Thanks! Thanks for the feedback. Love the theater and love that you can enjoy a beer or a glass of wine with your movie. The Evil Dead trilogy would be awesome and so would Tropic Thunder. Foreign movies like Delicatessen or The Triplets of Belleville would be cool too.

Thank you for "The Usual Suspects", we enjoyed watching it again. I would love to see "The Boondock Saints" "Leon" "Pulp Fiction" "L.A. Confidential". It seemed like the movies were rotated more frequently in the Winter and early Spring. Change it up, I love my beer and movies. Your theater is a great idea, the staff is friendly and I love the couch!

My husband and I very much enjoyed viewing 'Milk' in the "Living Room" theater last night - loved our great local beer in compostable cups and popcorn with nutritional yeast! Loved everything about the experience! The atmosphere, price and the fact that you have recycle bins can't be beat! We are very excited not to have to go to the price-gouging mainstream theaters anymore. We will be back next time for dinner & a movie (and, or course, more beer!).

Finally a place to relax, enjoy a glass of wine or a beer (Ninkasi, that is!!) and some tasty food while watching movies! Eugene has needed this for so long. Even though the movies aren't necessarily "new releases," they seem somehow more enjoyable in this setting than at home on the couch. The staff is very friendly and even brings your food right into the theater while you're enjoying the show! If you're not up for beer or wine, they also serve the movie house staples such as popcorn, soda and candy... and it won't cost you a month's pay check like the chain theaters.

I recommend this theater whole-heartedly and can't wait to go back soon!

Hi. Can you tell me more about the public performance license you got for the theater? It seems like there's a wide variety of films you can show. Is it an umbrella type license or do you have to do each title individually?

What happened to Burn after Reading? My wife and I were all set to see that tonight. Bad Santa? I love the movie, but have seen it too many times.

I was at your theatre last Friday and saw Fear and Loathing, First off I love the theatre and the customer service was great. I can't figure how the heck to contact you guys though. I think I may have lost my ID there. I can not find a number for the theatre anywhere.

I went to the David Minor Theatre with a friend and took in a seat-rumbling screening of Batman Begins...Ninkasi brew in hand. The folks who run the show there are very friendly, fun-loving and--best of all--they care about film.
